A mesatenista chinesa Liu Shiwen está radiante de felicidade com o título de equipes feminina do Campeonato Asiático de Tênis de Mesa e também pela comemoração de seu aniversário no dia 12 de abril, completando 26 anos de idade e recebendo muitas felicitações, presentes e bolos.

“Before this match, I’m well prepared. Today I was able to mobilise myself quite well. After winning the first game, I lost focus and was too eager for victory when leading at 8-5 in the second game, and that costed me that game. The scores were very tight after that as well, but this match also let me know my opponent better, it’s a better situation for preparing for future major events.”
Coach KONG Linghui:
“All three of them (Ding Ning, Liu Shiwen & Zhu Yuling) fought well today and were well prepared. Each encounter with the Japanese team in the gold medal match is a rehearsal for Tokyo 2020, so I also gave each of my players more pressure. Today, I think they played to their level. Actually our overall strength is better than them, so we just have to do enough preparation work from our end.”
